Programs & Courses
At Hocking College Perry Campus, you'll have the opportunity to complete general coursework in any of the programs offered at Hocking College's Nelsonville Campus. Additionally, you can participate in the Ohio Transfer Module that is guaranteed to be accepted by any state-funded college or university in Ohio.
Students can also take classes that are part of the Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degree programs. These programs prepare students to enter a broad variety of bachelor's degree majors and enable students to fulfill the undergraduate general education requirements of most four-year degree programs. These degrees are recommended for students who have not yet decided the field they will enter or the four-year institution they will attend. The Opticianry program is offered exclusively at the Perry Campus. Additionally, students can complete selected coursework in Business Management and Entrepreneurship, Criminal Justice and Office Administration at the Perry Campus.
About the Campus
For more than 25 years, Hocking College has been offering full-time programming in Perry County. First in rented space at the Perry County Fairgrounds and since 1997 at its current location at 5454 State Route 37 in New Lexington. The 20,000 square foot site building consists of two floors and features six general classrooms, along with specialized learning labs, including a state-of-the art interactive video distance learning (IVDL) laboratory.
Hocking College is dedicated to serving students at its Perry Campus offering Accessibility Resources, tutoring, and library services at its local campus.
Hocking College Perry Campus participates in honors programs with Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society of two-year colleges. Since the local Beta Lambda Nu Chapter of PTK was chartered in 2003, several students have been named to the All-Ohio Academic First, Second and Third teams.
