The course provides basic and advanced instructional methods for adult learners, including course organization skills, lesson plan development and Power Point development. At the course end, students will receive Level II certification enabling them to instruct courses in Fire or EMS training. All work will be completed on the Hocking College main campus in Nelsonville, Ohio.
The program cost is $300 plus books. Students will be provided with all other classroom materials. Course texts are Fire and Emergency Services Instructor, 8th Edition, ISBN 978-0-87939-441-7 and Fire and Emergency Services Instructor, 8th Edition Study Guide, ISBN 978-0-87939-442-4. They can be purchased on coursemart.com or amazon.com.
