Hocking College has announced that tuition and general fees for all students will not increase for the 2015-2016 academic year. Housing rates will also stay at the current rate.

There is no change in tuition (instructional and general fees) for any student. Law governs the freeze for in-state students; a state-mandated two-year freeze was included in the state budget signed into law last week. Tuition for out of state and international students and housing rates are being held steady by a decision of the Hocking College administration, which was affirmed by the Board of Trustees through the passage of the FY 2016 original budget.

"We recognize that many students struggle to pay for college and holding tuition and housing rates steady makes it easier for students to manage their budget," said Dr. Betty Young, president of Hocking College. "Hocking College has always been an affordable option and while the in-state tuition freeze was mandated by the state, we chose to keep rates for all students and our housing rates at the current rate to make college possible for even more people," Young said.
