The Annual Home and Garden Show at the Perry County Fairgrounds will be held Friday, May 1 and Saturday, May 2. Doors open at 3 p.m. on Friday and close at 7 p.m. Saturday hours are 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Friday at 4 p.m., Chef Alfonso will be presenting a cooking demonstration with herbs. This program is being sponsored by Ruff's IGA of Crooksville. You can stop by and watch our chef show off his skills and try a sample of his famous dishes.

On Saturday the American Red Cross Blood Mobile will be at the show. No appointment is necessary to donate. There were 16 donors last year and the Red Cross is aiming to surpass that number this year.

There is no admission charge and parking is free at the Home and Garden Show.
