The Hocking Woods Nature Center at Hocking College will host the Spring Equinox Gathering from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 21, 2015.

Dave Sagan, Nature Center Director, will guide participants through the universe with some astronomy activities. Admission is free, and plenty of entertaining and educational activities will be offered. Arts, crafts and games will be provided.

Participants will adventure out on a hike to identify local trees, learn about snakes and hear ancient tales about the woods. They will also have bird and pond study activities, including a raptor presentation with hawks and owls.
