Ohio Magazine has recognized five Hocking College faculty members with this year's Excellence in Education Award. This special recognition is given to Ohio's top college and university professors and staff who show exemplary work in education and instruction.

The magazine issue featuring the awards, which will be published in December 2014, will give recognition to math instructor Jean Libbon, English instructor Kathy Pittman, Ken Temple from Natural Resources Law Enforcement, Mark Cullen from the Massage Therapy program and Scott Dunfee from the GIS/GPS program.

These faculty members also received Hocking College Excellence in Instruction awards earlier this year. That award is granted to any full or part-time faculty member who had demonstrated great work in instruction both in and outside of class.
