With the third quarter results released by the Ohio Board of Nursing - Hocking's School of Nursing continues to produce students who pass the NCLEX at higher than state and national averages.

For practical nursing students, Ohio graduates in general had an 85.13 percent passing rate, while the nation had an 85.54 percent passing rate. Hocking College excels with a 95.92 percent passing rate as first-time candidates. This is an increase from last year's 88.89 percent passing rate.

Registered nursing students also scored above average. Registered nursing students of Ohio scored 82.73 percent, with a nationwide score of 84.29 percent. Hocking College's students excelled with an 88.89 percent passing rate.
