During the month of November, four bins will be located throughout Hocking College's main campus for faculty and students to donate their books.

The bins will be located in Oakley 312, in the library, on the Student Services Concourse and one more location to be announced.

Thanks to your help, throughout the 2012-2013 school year, 4,700 pounds of books were collected toward this literacy effort with Better World Books.

Better World Books collects and ships these books across the U.S. to support worldwide literacy work. any book, even used or old books as long as it is in readable condition can be donated. Magazines, journals, trade publications and similar items cannot be donated.

If you cannot find books to donate, you can help in other ways such as emptying the bins, counting the books, packing and strapping up the shipping boxes and  affixing labels. Some students have already signed up to help, but more hands are always needed.
