Hocking College's new student spirit club, Hocking Proud, held a Pie-a-thon last Thursday, October 24, to raise money for their club.
Students could pay to throw a pie at the faculty or staff member of their choice. Several faculty and staff members volunteered to take a pie in the face.
As a school spirit club, Hocking Proud members go out of their way to help one another, as well as faculty and staff, as they volunteer their time to help with campus events. These students engage in random acts of kindness. They plan activities on campus to raise school spirit and they recognize students, faculty and staff who are doing good things on campus.
Meetings are held Mondays at 4 p.m. in the Student Center. For additional information, contact Hocking Proud President Kiara Ivory.
