Beginning March 25, 2013, Andy Freeman, Landscape Management Program Coordinating Instructor, and his students will begin the first phase of developing the SSG Curtis "Moose" Oakes Veterans' Memorial Garden expansion. Additionally, the Heavy Equipment program will begin digging holes to jump start the project.
Several large trees will be delivered, including two 25 feet Green Pillar Oaks. The trees will be planted during the week in front of Light Hall. An email from Campus Police will let faculty, staff and students know which parking lots will be closed during the expansion project.
