The Hocking College School of Public Safety is offering the National Rifle Association (NRA) Basic Firearms Course every month during 2013, with the next classes offered February 23-24, and March 9-10.

This course will qualify the student to apply for their Concealed Carry Weapons (CCW) license.  The class focuses on low or non-experienced shooters and will be held at the Public Safety Services building and the firing range, both on Hocking College campus. Handguns are available, and ammunition will be provided.

Professional instructors with over 25 years of experience will teach the classes. For the safety of everyone involved, class size is limited to 14 people per month, allowing for personalized instruction. The cost is $150 and is open to faculty, students and the general public.
