The American Physical Therapy Association named Tobe Gillogly Outstanding Pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant Clinician of the year at the Combined Sections Meeting in San Diego, California on January 25, 2013.
Gillogly is a 1993 graduate of Ohio University, where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. She received her Associate’s of Applied Science, Physical Therapist Assistant from Hocking College in 2003. Finally, she obtained a Master of Science in Family Studies from Ohio University in 2011. For the past 10 years, Gillogly worked at Ohio University as a Physical Therapist Assistant and taught students at Hocking College as a Physical Therapist Assistant instructor.
This national award is given to a physical therapist and a physical therapist assistant whose clinical practice exemplifies the work and dedication of pediatric physical therapy practice with children and families. The nominee must demonstrate creativity, adaptability, energy, dedication and innovation.
