The Hocking College School of Public Safety Services will conduct Peace Officer Basic Academy January 7, 2013 through May 10, 2013.
Applications will be accepted through Friday, January 4, 2013. Anyone interested in the academy must be 18 years of age, no felony record and must possess a valid Ohio Driver’s License.
Students will be provided classroom materials including a laptop computer and uniform clothing. Upon successful completion, students will qualify for Ohio Peace Officer status in accordance with the Ohio Peace Officer Commission and receive 18 college credit hours.
