Lake Snowden, in Albany, Ohio, will once again offer migratory game bird hunting to licensed hunters, beginning Tuesday, September 4, 2012.
Although migratory game bird hunting season begins September 1, due to recreational activities planned over the Labor Day holiday, hunting at Lake Snowden will not begin until Tuesday.
Anyone interested in hunting at Lake Snowden should obtain written permission from either the Lake Snowden park office or the Hocking College Police Department on main campus. A map of available hunting areas will also be provided.
Lake Snowden is owned and operated by Hocking College, and partners with the Ohio Department of Natural Resources annually to offer hunting.
