Hocking College recently named Ken Bowald as Dean of the School of Natural Resources and Alfonso Contrisciani as Dean of the McClenaghan Center for Hospitality Training.

Bowald has worked at Hocking College since 1996, first as the lead instructor for the Natural and Historical Interpretation program, then as Associate Dean. He has a Bachelor of Science in Recreation from Ohio University, and a Master's of Science in Education from Northern Illinois University. Bowald was named 2012 National Project Learning Tree (PLT) Outstanding Educator. He was recognized in 2006 with the Hocking College Excellence in Teaching award.

Contrisciani began teaching at Hocking College in January 2012 and is one of only 67 Certified Master Chefs in the United States. He earned his degree in culinary arts from Johnson and Wales University. Constrisciani boasts 32 years of culinary experience, including orchestrating presidential dinners and President Obama’s Inaugural balls. He has been featured on the Food Network and competed as a member of Team USA in the International Culinary Olympics.
