Two Hocking College Perry Campus students were honored recently at a luncheon held in their honor at the Ohio Statehouse in Columbus.
Robert Alexander of Crooksville and Colton Barnhart of New Lexington were named to the All-Ohio Academic Third Team for the 2011-2012 academic year.
Alexander is completing his Associate Degree in Opticianry, while Barnhart is completing his Associate Degree in Accounting. The students were selected by the Ohio Association of Community Colleges. They are both members of the Beta Lambda Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, and completed a detailed portfolio of their qualifications in terms of academic achievement and college and community service.
