The Beta Lambda Nu Chapter of Phi Theta Kappa (PTK) at Hocking College Perry Campus held its first fundraiser of the school year on October 18 at the Pizza Hut Restaurant in New Lexington. The fundraiser was held to benefit the PerCo Organization, a sheltered workshop for developmentally disabled adults.
This was the first of three annual fundraisers held by Beta Lambda Nu. The second fundraiser, on November 8, will benefit the local Toys for Tots for impoverished children. A third event, normally held in the spring, will benefit another charity of the chapter's choosing.
