Three Nelsonville residents were awarded scholarships from the David S. Fraedrich Memorial Scholarship Fund to attend Hocking College. Brandie Herdlitzka received $2000 and Lauren Barber and Timothy Davis each received $1,500. All are enrolled in the Hocking College School of Nursing and the awards are for the coming academic year. Jeanie Fraedrich, second from right, is a member of the scholarship selection committee and represents the Fraedrich family.
