Norm Fox and volunteers at Robbins Crossing hosted their first Harvest Festival over the weekend. “
“We brought back many of the same activities that have been hosted here during Paul Bunyan weekends. Visitors camped and some spent the entire weekend with us. Our learning stations were open and we had live music throughout the weekend. In addition to activities in each of the log cabins, there were demonstrations and vendors across the grounds. Visitors enjoyed the traditional comfort food of soup beans and cornbread and of course, our homemade pies have always been popular with our visitors,” Norm Foxsaid.
Plans are to follow up with the second annual Harvest Festival the first full weekend of October, (7, 8 and 9) in 2011.
