The Hocking College Foundation Board, the fundraising unit for Hocking College, has expanded as new members have been added and a former member returns.
The Foundation is chaired by Don Gable of Logan who is retired from the Hocking College fiscal office. Don Wood, Don Wood Automotive, returns to the board. Newly appointed members include Terry Conner, computer CEO; Judie Henniger, music educator; Cathy Kerns, assistant treasurer, Logan-Hocking Schools; Harold Laughlin, owner, Laughlin Vending/realtor; and Diana Spurgus, Business Systems Solutions Inc. Both Ms. Kerns and Ms. Spurgus are Hocking College graduates.
Continuing board members include Mike Brooks, CEO Rocky Brands; Steve Cox, president, Nelsonville Home Savings; Craig Garrelts, executive director, Hocking Metropolitan Housing Authority; and Jay Maiden, president, Maiden & Jenkins Construction Company. Hocking College President Ron Erickson and Vice President Gina Fetty represent the college on the Foundation board.
