Kappa Beta Delta, an honors fraternity for business, accounting and office management students at Hocking College, raised money to benefit a variety of community services projects throughout the area.
Assistant Professor Barbara Sunderlin said students donated $400 to the Logan rotary for the Rotarian's bicycle project. The money will go toward the purchase of 10-12 bicycles. Kappa Beta Gamma also purchased 80 throws for distribution through The Gathering Place, Good Works and My SIster's Place, and they decorated Kimberly Meadows, a nearby senior apartment complex, for the holiday season.
The students held a bake sale and sold poinsettias to raise money in support of their projects.
