Hocking College student Chad Dillon has been selected as a 2011 Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Gold Scholar. Dillon is a second year Hocking College student, studying Advanced Energy and Fuel Cells.
Dillon’s selection as a Coca-Cola Gold Scholar was based on his scores earned in the All-USA Community College Academic Team competition, for which more than 1,600 applications were received this year.
Dillon’s name was listed in the April 11, 2011 issue of USA TODAY featuring the Coca-Cola New Century and Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team Scholars. In addition as a Coca-Cola Gold Scholar, Dillon will be mailed a $1,500 check in August, and receive a custom designed gold-medallion.
The Coca-Cola Community College Academic Team program is sponsored by the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation and is administered by Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society.
