A two-day training session offering skills in basic PowerPoint and designing presentations will be offered August 4 – 5, 2011 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. by the Hocking College School of Public Safety Services.
Day one, “Learning About PowerPoint,” allows users to build, print and deliver presentations that are developed only once. Attendees will learn to print slides, handouts and note pages. The second day of class, “Designing Presentations,” teaches users to incorporate photos and videos in the slides and deliver on-screen presentations.
The course is taught by Amy Shaner and is designed for teachers, instructors, law enforcement, court room staff, fire and emergency services personnel, public officials, attorneys, public relations and travel professionals.
